Tzali Stern

President & Founder

Our company’s founder and president, Tzali Stern, has a been a physical therapist for 17 years. After graduating from his Physical Therapy program in September 2000, he gained experience in a variety of therapy environments and eventually founded his first outpatient clinic, Stern Physical Rehabilitation, in 2009. The company quickly grew and branched into assisted living facilities and Home Care. As the Stern name grew the demand for quality therapy in skilled nursing facilities called for the opening of Stern Therapy Consultants, whose first mission was to improve the quality of the facilities for which it provides its rehab services to. Growing off this model of clinical excellence Tzali has pivoted Stern Consultants to apply our model in all aspects of long term care and helped lead the company into expanding into complete long term care services.

Stanley Alpert

PT

Stanley has been a therapist for 53 years. He has worked in multiple settings. At the current time, he prides himself in providing quality care and assisting patients in achieving their maximum potential and goals. He enjoys working at Stern Rehab along with the other highly skilled therapists in servicing the community.

Mordicai Greenstein

DPT

Mordi Greenstein graduated from Touro Manhattan Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2013. Since then he has extensive experience with treating all types of clients.

His love of exercising and sports helps in his every day work and is lucky to be able to incorporate the two. His patients feel that and it definitely contributes to his success with them. Stern rehab has wonderful therapists, a warm atmosphere and constant growth in providing the best for their patients. These things have not only made it an ideal place to work, but it’s why he eventually partnered up with Stern, to open a new, much in need clinic , in Kiryas Joel, Monroe.

Sara Leah Berg

DPT

Sara Leah Berg, DPT , is a Touro graduate and has been working at Stern Rehab since graduation. She says it has been an amazing experience every step of the way.
From Mr. Stern himself, to the office manager, the staff and other physical therapists. “There is something to learn from everyone, and everyone offers their help support and advice based on true experiences.” Sara Leah says she feels fortunate to work in a place where she not only looks up to her peers, but knows that because of them, she is growing into the very best physical therapist that she can be.

Chava Schwartz

OT R/L

Chava Schwartz has over twenty years of experience working with different populations and specializing in pediatrics. She has a background in addressing behavioral issues as well, which can impact a child’s performance both at home and in the school environment. At Stern Rehab she treats various diagnoses and work in conjunction with the PT’s to allow for optimal patient success.

Esther Greenberg

OTR, CHT

Esther Greenberg graduated from SUNY Downstate in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy. She went on and earned her certification in hand therapy in 2003. Her clinical experience includes hospital-based, private practice and out-patient therapy settings. In addition, Esther is a certified ergonomic specialist who performs on-site ergonomic evaluations and has guest lectured on the topic at SUNY Downstate.
